Alexandra Breckenridge

AlexandraAlexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her career began as an actress in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). She then played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt as well as a supporting role in the short-lived series The Ex List. She was the lead character of Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and as Kaylee in the season's third. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also is the voice of a variety of characters on the comedy show Family Guy. Since 2019, she has starred in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10, when she and her mother relocated to California. There, they moved around for a year before they settled in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to be interested in acting, singing, and photography at 13. When she was 15 she moved with her mother back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
